Our Externship Program
At Bodywork by Beverly Wellness, we believe that knowledge, experience, and the gift of healing are meant to be shared.
We are proud to participate in externship programs with local massage therapy schools, providing students with an opportunity to gain valuable real-world experience as they prepare to enter the wellness profession. Although our externs are typically with us for a short period—sometimes up to 40 hours—we strive to make their time with our practice meaningful, educational, and encouraging.
Our externship program gives aspiring massage therapists an opportunity to experience the professional side of the wellness industry, strengthen their skills, build confidence, and learn in a supportive environment.
For us, participating in an externship program is about more than fulfilling educational hours. It is an opportunity to mentor, encourage, and share some of the knowledge and gifts we have gained throughout our own journey in massage therapy and wellness.
While externships are temporary, meaningful professional relationships can grow from the experience, and occasionally an extern may have the opportunity to become a permanent member of our team.
We are honored to partner with local massage therapy schools and to play a small part in helping prepare the next generation of wellness professionals for successful and rewarding careers.

We also bring wellness beyond the treatment room. Through our corporate and event wellness services, including on-site chair massage, we make professional wellness experiences accessible to workplaces, organizations, private gatherings, and special events throughout the Sacramento area.
