Recover Faster.
Look and Feel Refreshed.
Bodywork by Beverly Wellness offers professional-grade localized cryotherapy and cryo facial rejuvenation using the Cryo Science Pinguin device — the same trusted technology used in leading recovery and aesthetic clinics. Targeted cold therapy for pain, inflammation, and post-workout recovery, plus non-invasive facial treatments for tone, firmness, and glow.

Localized Cryotherapy
A precise stream of cooled air is directed to a specific area of the body — a sore shoulder, low back, knee, or IT band — for a short, controlled treatment. The rapid drop in surface temperature helps reduce inflammation, ease pain signals, and support the body's natural recovery response.
- Muscle soreness and post-workout recovery
- Acute and chronic joint pain (shoulder, knee, low back)
- Tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, and overuse injuries
- Swelling and inflammation from strain or injury
- Great as a stand-alone session or add-on to bodywork
Sessions typically last 8–12 minutes per area. Most clients feel immediate relief and improved range of motion.

Cryo Facial Rejuvenation
A gentle, non-invasive facial that uses controlled cold air to tighten pores, calm redness, and boost circulation. Skin looks brighter and more toned immediately — with no downtime and no needles.
- Improves skin tone, firmness, and elasticity
- Minimizes the appearance of pores and fine lines
- Calms redness, puffiness, and irritation
- Stimulates collagen and boosts circulation
- Zero downtime — a beautiful pre-event glow
Facial sessions run about 20–30 minutes. Best results come from a short series, but even a single treatment delivers a visible, refreshed glow.

Good to Know
Is cryotherapy safe?
Yes — localized cryotherapy uses cooled air (not liquid contact) and is delivered by a licensed practitioner following strict protocols. The device is FDA-registered and used worldwide in recovery and aesthetic clinics. Certain conditions (Raynaud's, cold urticaria, pregnancy, uncontrolled hypertension) are contraindicated; we screen every client beforehand.
Does it hurt?
No. Most clients describe it as an intense cool sensation that becomes comfortable within seconds. There is no numbing and no ice-burn — the treatment is closely monitored.
How many sessions do I need?
For recovery and pain, many clients feel relief after one session; a short series often produces the best lasting results. For facials, a series of 4–6 treatments spaced weekly produces the most noticeable improvement.
Can I combine cryo with a massage?
Absolutely — that's one of the biggest advantages of getting both services in one place. Localized cryo before deep tissue work reduces inflammation so the massage feels more effective; a cryo facial after bodywork is a wonderful head-to-toe reset.
